For this project, our clients were looking to add some architectural plants that would sit well with their existing perennials and roses. The previous planting had suffered due to the ever-increasing tree canopies above and without an irrigation system we had to think carefully about the planting design. Interesting leaf textures from different fern cultivars, two large Tree ferns and accents of purples and reds brought this scheme to life. It’s now a wildlife-friendly oasis with different layers of interest.
